DEACTIVATED SMLE 1916 RIFLE (DR73)

Deactivated World War I Short Magazine Lee Enfield rifle, dated 1916 and made at the Enfield factory. This example has lovely woodwork with the top woods both retaining there ‘ears’ the lower fore stock is the earlier type with wider wood for the long range volley sight plate,the marker  butt disc is marked 3DG for the third Dragoon Guards. This example cock, strips and dry fires, comes to complete with GB deactivated certificate date 1997.
