World War II leather sling for the Short Magazine Lee Enfield or P 14 rifle ,mainly issued to the British home guard and is dated 1941 which was the last year these slings were made and is maker marked ‘Butler Brothers of Walsall’. The leather is still nice and supple and is a nice item to find in this condition.
