A really lovely World War II Australian bayonet for the Short Magazine Lee Enfield rifle in really lovely condition. The ricasso is dated January 1942 and has MA manufacture mark, the reverse of the ricasso is with MA and inspectors marks complete in lovely brown leather scabbard which is marked on the reverse MANGROVITE 1942, has lovely traces of sand paint both to the locket and chape of the scabbard and also faint traces to the pommel, inside bayonet lug release,wood and the grip screws, a nice item to find.
