Scarce World War II American 16 inch bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle ,only made for 10 months spaning from1942 to 1943 ,this example has the ricasso marked UFH for Union Fork & Hoe company with US flaming grenade and dated 1942 comes complete with hard plastic scabbard. Most of these were converted back to a 10 inch standard blade.
